My Heart Belongs to Paris

My Heart belongs to Paris

My Heart belongs to Paris and Sacré Cœur was at its finest on this lovely day in Autumn when I snapped this picture.

If I were to chose as song as a start of the soundtrack to my life it would have to be Petite Fleur sung by Henri Salvador. I would then have to punctuate it with  a range of pieces by the French Electro Swing band, Caravan Palace, so upbeat and quirky.

As the credits roll up I would hope that I could have Louis Armstrong playing La vie en Rose

  1. Lovely, quirky, and fun! Thanks for sharing. The Caravan Palace was a pure delight, while the open clip, Petite fleur, was so beautifully French, and ending with our man Louie was pure inspiration! Lovely!

      1. Definitely can see your love for France. I share that love from afar. One day, I hope to visit that lovely country. I was lucky enough when in high school to have had an awesome French language teacher. She traveled there every year and visited a different region. She would then come back to the States and share the dialect, life style, and foods of the region she visited. It helped us believe we were visiting the country with her. It was magical. Your blog helped to bring that back for me.

  2. I was so lucky to travel for my first visit to France with a wonderfully knowledgeable companion who showed me a Paris that most tourists don’t get to see. It is such a privilege to have such people in your life, like sharing a moment with a lovely person on the other side of the globe! Many thanks for chatting! 🙂
