Magnetic Attraction

Sad to be all alone in the world.

How I have searched for “solitude” (the theme of today’s Photography 101 task) and discovered in my searching it was too dark outside to take much more than sad blobs of light which do little to convey any idea at all (except perhaps that they are pictures of sad blobs of light).

Desperate therefore to interpret the theme I resorted to the magnet board behind our door which I bought for a song in the Galeries Lafayette many moons ago. Usually it resides undisturbed, covered with little “Souvenirs de Paris” which I gaze on now and then when feeling particularly nostalgic.

This little sequence of 3 photos about “solitude” is taken from 2 angles, one set in black and white another in colour.
