Westminster Tiles

One of the many marvels of Westminster Abbey are the medieval floor tiles in one of the side chapels. Thankfully I was there when the day was cloudless and the room empty so had a chance to look at these amazing remnants from medieval times and take a few photos too. It seemed terrible to be walking on them given their age and rarity but I suppose one had to get across the room somehow.

These amazing floor tiles in Westminster Cathedral have survived since medieval times.
