Native Australian plants tend to be very sensible when it comes to making the most of the good times. When the end of winter approaches there is a desperate profusion of growth and September is the best time to visit if you wish to see native plants at their very best (usually they are a rather desiccated olive/smoke green.)
This was just one of the photos I snapped today at King’s Park, a beautiful and immense park in the centre of Perth.
Strolling about the gardens overflowing with native plants in full bloom was a rather pleasant way to pass a Sunday afternoon. I hope you, dear reader, enjoy a peaceful, flower filled Sunday too! 🙂
Thank you 🙂

Beautiful picture. Australia has beautiful plants and animals I have heard. I was under the impression that you live in France, perhaps, because of your handle and another post I saw before 🙂
Have a wonderful day ahead.
Love and light ❤

Thanks so much. I would love to live in France but I grew up and live in Australia. French culture is my passion so I like to write about it and share my photos from the times I have spent there.

Australia certainly has some amazing plants and wildlife but we also have a lot of deadly creatures. This is one of the deadliest ones I photographed up in North West Australia. https://amaviedecoeurentier.wordpress.com/2014/11/09/my-blue-ringed-octopus-encounter/

Yes, I used watch a program, I have forgot the name but the host used to bring wild-life from Austrailia to our attention –then one day this wonderful host died. Thanks for sharing this wonderful picture and the account of the close encounter.
Love and light ❤
