Wildflower Wednesday

This beautiful peony was only one of many booming in profusion in the absolutely delightful Parc du Thabor, Rennes.

The charming and talented Helene Parish from Life in Frame  has set herself some blogging goals for the future and I was taken with her idea of “Wildflower Wednesday“.

A fellow Australian she has been capturing the wild flowers at this time of year.

Here is a photo of a peony I took in the delightful Parc du Thabor in Rennes, Brittany. It is practically impossible to grow Peonies in Perth and if you are lucky enough to find them in the flower shops they cost a fortune.

Another reason to pine, yet again, for France.

Sigh….

  1. Hi TJ, a beautiful flower, from a beautiful place. I have not had the opportunity to travel in France much, only a couple of visits, but I love everything about it. Your peony also inspires me as an artist, albeit a very infrequent one these days. Best wishes, kathie
