Here on my table
The proud phoenix waits, ready
To burst into flame
…O…
This is Week 2 of Helene Parish’s Wildflower Wednesday Challenge.
This is a photo of some Ranunculus from our local florist. They went pettily in a Japanese vase that I found last week at the Sunday carboot sale for a mere $10! The colours seemed to go nicely. I was very happy to find this vase which is from the mid 1900’s and is lavishly painted with a riot of different flowers and two splendid phoenix.
I love everything about this post; the beautiful, vibrant flowers, the gorgeous vase (what a lucky find) and the Haiku,, bringing it all together perfectly.

Very beautiful – I love the print on the cloth too.

Thanks so much! ☺ The cloth is an Indian print which has an almost 1930s look. Brightens up the room.☺
