Firstly I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who have participated in the challenge this year and wish you every happiness of the season as well as a wonderful new year!

Now I know that stars are not in the house literally but it is quite likely that you have something with a star on it or shaped like a star. It could be a cookie cutter or a print on a curtain, a light shade or even on the top of a tree. Be creative with your star shape!

  6. First, thanks for the mention; second, I LOVE the prompt word!! Third, I LOVE your haiku–a LOT!! And finally, I love the image–I don’t usually fall into the sin of coveting, but I’ve always wanted one of those millefiori pieces! I’m imagining your home is fully decorated in exquisite taste for Christmas–even though you’re not going to sweat over a hot stove, making traditional feast menu. But what about the boozy pumpkin pie–any progress toward that? We are flying toward Christmas…and I’m trying to pace myself (which unfortunately means very little blogging). Yesterday I made 2 kinds of fudge, and a pan of gingerbread. Wishing you a most Blessed Christmas and healthy and Happy New Year!! Jael

    1. Oh! You make me ashamed of my poor Christmas cooking attempts. Canned pumpkin seems to be a commodity hard to find in Perth so about how much pumpkin should I cook to make the same sort of amount do you think? I am so glad you like the photo. I have 2 English millefiori paperweights and they are fascinating things to look at. Looking forward to hearing more of your delicious concoctions for Christmas. Hope you are taking photos to share in a post. Bless! TJ

      1. Sorry I’m unable to take photos, so you’ll have to use your imagination! Recipe calls for 1 can–15 oz of pumpkin–I’m just guessing, but it seems it would be the same amount of “cooked pumpkin”. Bon Appetit!
