Prompt Word: Fence

See what lies beneath

The bright green of the springtime

The grey of winter

Welcome to TJ’s Household Haiku!

If you would like to join in then use the anything in the picture or the prompt word as an inspiration. You do not need to include the word “fence” or “green”. You might go for emerald, geraniums, boarder…whatever the prompt inspires you to. Add a link to your post in the comment section by pressing the little black speech bubble. Do read the contributors examples from last week’s prompt below for inspiration.

Last Week’s prompt was “Bouquet” with a picture of a Parisian flower stall

  1. Really interesting, textural photo, TJ. Amazing how the mundane can appear intriguing with the camera’s eye. The haiku matches perfectly.

  2. What a striking contrast between the flowers and the cold rigidity of the wall. Another inspiring challenge launch TJ. I look forward to spending time thinking about fences…Kat 😊

  3. You always hit the nail on the head with your haiku. TJ, and do so very cleverly too! I just realised I used the wrong word last week for the challenge!
I’ll see if I can get it right this time! 🙂

    1. Hooray! Two of my boys played cricket for many years. I used to do the scoring. Anyone who says that cricket is a slow game has never scored before. Best of luck to him! It is a great game.
