Flower Song

Wildflower1
These little native Australian daisies bloom in profusion in September.

Though beauteous bright

Unsung the desert flower

Born to blush unseen

There in the still air

Delicious perfume lingers

Lost flower’s love cry

Haiku version of “Full many a flower born to blush unseen and waste its sweetness on the desert air” Thomas Gray
