It was an uneasy feeling to look down from the balcony of a comfortable hotel to the very basic market below. The uneasy contrast of east and west.

I’m so glad the mushrooms were actually pretty umbrellas, not ugly brown things–though I love to cook and eat them, there’s not much poetic about them in their natural state. Will try to find something haiku about them 🙂
