THE OXFORD ANTIQUE MARKET!

While Kitty is very tolerant regarding my penchant for accumulating treasures I had assiduously avoided dragging the family to antique shops knowing that there were so many other wonders to be seen. However, I did have to make the stipulation that I would need to devote two hours on Thursday morning to have a “squiz” at the fair, given that last time I was in Oxford I came away with a number of fabulous bibelots. Consequently, Max, Helen and I left Kitty to sensibly enjoy a relaxing morning lying in while we trooped through the mizzling rain to the little square where the stall holders were setting up their wares in a desultory kind…
