Prompt words for this week:  “Window and Heart”

Forgive me my dear fellow Haikuists. I’m back!

Bienvenue to you haiku enthusiasts out there. This image of the peculiar 15th centruy remnant in the midst of busy Paris always intrigues me given that it looks like a fairy tale castle surrounded by 19th and 20th Century architecture.

Many thanks to all those who converted the prompts  of “Shiver and Rain” from last week into another compilation of Haikuey goodness.

As always, apologies in advance if I should be so inept as to miss anyone in the roundup. Always let me know and I will add you in ASAP.

The incomparable Annette Rochelle Aben started off the collection with this introverted view

      1. Thanks.

I believe that every country has a “pet” natural disaster whether it’s cyclones/hurricanes, flooding, sandstorms, earthquakes or tornados. I worry about the people who are going to be getting a direct hit — people who, until a few days ago — didn’t know Irma was targeting them.

          1. Hoping you have the support and love you need to get you through this time. Will look forward to enjoying your writing again when you are ready to get back to blogging. Be gentle to yourself and take the time you need to just “be” for a while if you can. Much love to you.

  1. Hi Tim. I’m back. Recuperating from a bad case of jet lag from a trip to Kauai, Hawaii. Loved “cascades of golden sorrow.” Magnificent poetics. I’ll post my entry soon. 🙂

          1. That is something that makes you appreciate the moment for sure. I am off for a few day soon to Albany, a lovely town by the sea so that will give me chance to slow down a bit. 🙂
