A chance encounter
Sunlight around slim columns
Chasing coy shadows
In response to Ronovan Writes Haiku Challenge “Slim and Chance”
I took this photo in the autumn morning light in Pisa. I know that it is one of “those things” that everyone goes to see, but, up close it is the most extraordinarily beautiful piece of architecture.
We stayed for a while as the light changed and the shadows moved across the surface and changed it from a misty dream into a stark, classical marvel.

The tower of Pisa is so beautiful, we were there in 1988. I still remember just standing still and looking at its beauty. Your haiku is also beautiful 🙂
