The Fleshpots!

The prompts for Ronovan Writes this week are Flesh and Tide. I know someone who finds the word “flesh” utterly repulsive. This may indicate some strange undiagnosed psychosis but I do find the word rather unpleasant myself. Here are some interpretations of this intriguing pairing…

The world’s rank fleshpots

Reek like brackish tidal pools

Putrid and stinking

..O..

Moving like the tide

All flesh ebbing and flowing

Rubenesque Beauty

..O..

Oh woe betide me!

You have dealt my aching heart

More than a flesh wound

In response to Ronovan Writes weekly haiku prompt – flesh and tide

    1. Thanks so much! I really enjoy writing haiku so it is great to have an excuse with the wonderful Ronovan’s challenge each week. Very best wishes to you! :)TJ
