Rebel Without a Causeway

St Malo in the distance while the tide rushes in to trap the unwary traveler lingering at Chateaubriand’s tomb.

Beware oh travelers lest you turn your back upon the treacherous sea! This ancient causeway reveals itself but twice a day and unless you have a particular desire to spend countless hours venerating at the Tombe Chateaubriand you need to be quick before the tide encircles you.

With St Malo in all its glory in the distance we had to leg it fast to avoid being trapped, while this unfortunate lady, too engrossed with her digital life on her camera, was destined to enjoy a far longer sojourn on the Grand Be than she had originally planned.
