Rushing around today and at a loss for the new challenge I took a snap of a vase of sunflowers that has been producing huge blooms for the last week and a half. I can see why Vincent went gaga for them.
Here is my Haiku on the theme “Vase”, hope you feel inspired to submit your own!
I sometimes feel sad
Seeing the lovely flowers
Bloom only to die
If you would like to participate in TJ’s Household Haiku challenge then you can use any aspect of the household item for an inspiration. “Vase” could be the vase itself, its materials, the style, where it came from, the flowers it carries…be creative! It does not have to be a valuable vase…just whatever is about at home
If you are participating please add your contribution as a link to your post in the comment section and add “TJ’s Household Haiku Challenge” to your tag list on your own post so others can find you! Just click on the speech bubble at the end of this post to access comments.
If you would like more information about the challenge then you can view the instructions page HERE
Many thanks to Tucked Into a Corner for the great Haiku this week on the topic “Tray”
Check it out on this link! https://tuckedintoacorner.wordpress.com/2015/05/17/tea-time/
If you have an idea for a household object for next time let me know and I will acknowledge you in the next post if your idea is chosen.
Yes… the flowers of the vase are to get nuts…Nice haiku and the rest of your words.
