And so the spring with lush promises
and florid expressions,
Beguiles the dormant senses into wakefulness.
And reinvigorated, the rising passions burst forth…
A rush of vermillion on the white cheek,
A revelation of life unfurling.
Pink blushes for the bees’ rainbow kisses.
Honeyed words for the butterflies,
Floating in the scented air.
And all around, nature smiles in the gentle sunlight
Anticipating summer
Ah this is so lovely…the photo is stunning, I just love pink blushes and rainbow kisses:)

Thank you so much. So glad you enjoyed it! The daisies were all out in our garden and we had to bring a few inside. 🙂

They are gorgeous. Daisy is my fav flower. The ONLY reason I chose Tournesol as my nom de plume is because it is a prettier name than Margueritte! 🙂

I love “Tournesol” too. Such a lovely concept in the name.

And really, if you think about it, it’s just one giant daisy…well sort of:)

I am enthralled with your words. Oh Spring, I mourned your passing and yearn for your resurrection. In my part of the world, we are getting ready to hibernate for the winter. Such stunning daisies, TJ.

Oh how beautiful, and is that a matching daily on the vase?

Sorry for the delay replying. Life is on the boil! The vase is a little piece of Vienna porcelain from the 1940’s with a stylized flower on it. It could well be a daisy.
