Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité – the cornerstones of French society.

It is Saturday in Perth Western Australia and I little knew when I published my regular “French Friday” post yesterday morning what the day would hold for Paris. We have only just woken up to the terrible news that Paris has been attacked.

This is just a short post of solidarity for the Parisians and the French people in the midst of this tragedy.

If only we could teach people to exchange hatred for kindness.

  3. The more we see such attacks, the more I worry that perhaps we are failing ourselves. We no more teach kindness and love (as you pointed out); if love truly is the strongest emotion, it is also the most needed on amongst us now.
