See the cool morning
Drawing up so charmingly
A quilt of flowers
The Prompts for Ronovan this week are “look and charm’ which are much less horrifying than last week.

As a gardener whose mother is a quilted, I have a special appreciation for the image as well as the poem. Thank you!

Thanks so much! I was happy the photo looked like gazing across a lovely quilt in the morning and I have always appreciated the work that goes into a traditionally hand made quilt.

Wonderfully written, T.J. Love your last line. The photo definitely matches it.

Thanks so much! It took me a while to come up with this one as the syllable limit is tricky. Hope you have a day like a field of flowers! 🙂

Much appreciated! I try to keep my chin up with our horrible, lingering wet weather when it is usually sparkling, white snow this time of year.

That is a shame to hear. I always dream of other climes where a white Christmas is the norm. I hope it does the right thing for you all in the week ahead. 🙂

I’m hoping also. First year in my lifetime we may not have snow for Christmas. Climate change?

As your name is worthy of Wordsworth himself I greatly appreciate your kind comment! 🙂 Very best wishes 🙂

I love the look of a field of daisies. A great way to set off the charm of your Haiku. Lovely, indeed. – jk 🙂
