There in the bustling crowd,
All alone I
Move like a shadow
Stretching in the sunlight
Dark and ephemeral
In strange disconnection
In response to Photography 101 Prompt “Solitude” and the rule of thirds.
I snapped this as the sun was going down in Fremantle Perth. The light made the people strangely isolated and distinct. The boy in the foreground and the seagull formed a good focal point.
Loving the silhouettes 🙂 great shot!

The Sepia toned sky and the silhouettes form a very strong impression, pictures like this feel timeless 🙂

Thanks so much! I was really happy that the sunlight blacked out the figures and threw the contrast out so starkly. TJ

I stand alone here
Watching the crowd move along
Apart and a part.
