TJ’s Household Haiku

mist (Large)
A misty morning glimpse of the French countryside in early winder

Why now this strange mist?

When I thought that life was clear

Tears filling my eyes

  1. Your haiku is definitely a heart-grabber, TJ….look closely in that mist and see the not-so-strange hand waving distantly, smiling hope through tears. (Just in case I don’t get a valid haiku entry completed in time 🙂 )

          1. Oh Noooooo–and rats! you made me laugh, which triggers yet more coughing!! 🙂 Can you recommend a remedy? I pray you recover quickly and easily, that it doesn’t drag on…as you have students to enlighten–which, by the way, reminds me of a movie recommend: one of my purchased faves is “Saint Ralph”. Funny, heartwarming, Catholic school kids, young teens, wonderful cast… Healing prayers going up for you this instant.

          2. Oh dear. So sorry to provoke the cough. My French friend swears by a remedy involving reducing down two cups of champagne with a huge quantity of sugar on the stove and then drinking it down but I can’t say I have tried it.

          3. Well, that’s one I haven’t heard of 🙂 Google recommends honey, lemon and water–much cheaper than over-the-counter cough syrup, or the Rx I refused to purchase because the co-pay was $25…must be made with gold bouillon.
